UP-AND-COMING stand-up comedians Joz Norris and Tom Craine shared different tales and lighthearted jokes with the audience at Salisbury Arts Centre as part of Fest West.
Former Bishop Wordsworth’s School pupil Norris started the show dressed in a shark onesie.
His hour on stage included roleplay using volunteers from the crowd, audience participation and quirky sketches, all unconventionally fitting into his Awkward Prophet theme.
He was funny but felt more like a warm-up act for Craine’s fast-moving second half.
Craine, already a regular on The Josh Widdicombe Show and a writer for Mock the Week, showed great potential with Crying on a Waltzer, a routine comprising lyrical stories on topics ranging from depressive relationships to best friends.
The fluidity of his act ensured the continuity of the theme and, more importantly, a steady stream of laughter.
