PARENTING website Netmums is hosting a national competition to find the best local classes.

Netmums’ Classes For You Awards are a chance for Wiltshire’s businesses and entrepreneurs to have their class honoured as the area’s most popular.

The competition is open to any classes aimed at adults – keep fit, language skills, craft, cookery or art, and everything in between.

To enter, class owners or hosts need to have a free listing in the Classes For You section on netmums.com.

Netmums’ 1.6m users can then cast a vote online for their favourite class. There are two Netmums sites for the county, the North Wiltshire site, which has 10,500 members, and the South Wiltshire site, which has 11,000 members.

Voting is open until February 24, when the top three classes for each area will be selected.

The winning classes in each area will win a gold listing on the Netmums site, along with a Netmums Favourite certificate to display in their class, a badge for their website and a place on the Netmums Award Winners pages.

Karen Archer, Netmums Wiltshire editor, said: “Running a class takes hard work and dedication but class owners say there is nothing like seeing their members’ lives transformed. On Netmums there are more than 21,000 classes listed with lots run locally in Wiltshire.

Now is a great chance to say thank you to the person who runs your favourite and ensure their hard work is recognised and rewarded.”
